Qualifications

• Completion of a State Millwright Journeyman program with 7,600 hours of on-job apprenticeship.
• Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical maintenance services including installation, modifications, repairs, and setup for equipment and components
• Work within a flex-trade environment to complete a variety of tasks
• Operate material handling equipment such as hoists, cranes, lifts, and other power transmission devices to complete installations and repairs
• Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, engineers, technicians and operators to plan preventive and corrective maintenance and document activities
• Read work orders, operation manuals, blueprints and other technical documents for maintenance, upgrades, and rebuilds that may involve proprietary technology
• Follow safety regulations including energy isolation, lockout/tagout, and line breaking procedures
