Job summary

American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking an Entry Level House Mechanic on day shift to support the millwright discipline. You will perform diverse maintenance tasks from basic replacements to complex refurbishments and work with production to optimize equipment performance.

Requirements include a 2-year technical degree or completed millwright apprenticeship, or a high school diploma with 5 years of millwright experience.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or completed millwright apprenticeship OR high school diploma with 5 years of millwright experience

Responsibilities

• Inspect, replace, align, balance, install, and refurbish parts and equipment
• Understand operating principles and optimize equipment performance
• Work with Production to ensure effective maintenance interventions
• Perform welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering of carbon steel and stainless steel
