Job Summary

House Mechanic (Millwright) entry level position. Responsibilities include a wide variety of maintenance interventions, from parts replacements and equipment refurbishment to troubleshooting and optimization of equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and perform maintenance tasks such as parts replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, and refurbishment.
• Work closely with production to understand operating parameters and ensure maintenance interventions are appropriate and effective.
• Perform joining and fabrication activities, including welding, cutting, brazing, and soldering of carbon steel (SMAW/GMAW) and stainless steel (SMAW).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
• Experience in industrial welding and/or millwright tasks.
• Successful completion of a safety screen and a mechanical aptitude test.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Strong manual and hand‑tool operation skills, with an understanding of mechanical operating principles.

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Push, pull, and perform manual tool operation.
• Stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, reach, squat, crouch, kneel, and crawl as needed for work tasks.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $33.78 – $38.31 per hour, entry level with potential progression.
