Job summary

GCC's Pueblo, CO plant is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment in a safety-conscious environment to support continuous operations. You will work with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and other systems; read blueprints, perform welding and fabrication, and lead maintenance projects or crews when required.

The role requires 2 years of millwright experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of millwright mechanical experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Experience with concrete and sand & gravel plant components, hydraulics, boiler and air systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety processes.
• Construct/assemble new sand and gravel and concrete plants and perform maintenance in a timely manner.
• Perform welding, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, boilers, and air systems maintenance per specs.
• Inspect equipment per the Prescribed Inspection Schedule and prepare inspection reports.
• Lead maintenance projects or crews when needed and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
