Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, test, maintain and repair mechanical equipment at our Texas facility. You will interpret prints, use your welding and maintenance experience, and work with conveyors, pumps and drive systems to keep plant operations efficient.

The role requires the ability to work in confined spaces, heights, and varying climates, plus the stamina for shift work and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; working knowledge of maintenance and welding.
• Able to work in confined spaces, heights, and varying climates.
• Able to work on shift and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and works from prints and technical instructions.
• Installs, tests, maintains and repairs mechanical equipment.
• Maintains machines, conveyors, hoists, and other plant equipment.
• Inspects testing equipment and aligns it across the plant.
• Performs duties consistent with job classification under supervision.
