Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an experienced Level 2 Millwright in South Carolina. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read schematics and P&IDs, and demonstrate welding and machining skills.

Must have 10+ years in manufacturing, formal certification or AAS in mechatronics, and the ability to lead and train junior technicians while maintaining safe and efficient production lines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Certified apprenticeship or AAS degree in mechatronics.
• GED or High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs and installs machinery including vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Performs plumbing, machining, welding and fabrication as needed.
• Interprets work orders and prints; works with vendors/contractors.
• Mentors level 1, 2 and 3 maintenance technicians.
• Maintains equipment and housekeeping per 6S standards.
• Works 1st shift Fri-Sun 6am–6pm as required.
