Job summary

Beasley Forest Products in Hazlehurst, GA seeks a Night Shift Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery across the facility. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring equipment operates safely during overnight operations.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, read blueprints, and work with cross‑functional teams to improve performance while upholding

Qualifications

• Previous millwright or industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience in sawmills, lumber, forestry, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment as needed.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and management teams to improve equipment performance.

Position Summary

The Night Shift Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the facility. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively during overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor system issues

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery, moving equipment, and elevated areas
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions when necessary
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
