Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Madison, GA is seeking a Maintenance Millwright to keep equipment running safely and reliably. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and pays $30.00–$36.00 per hour, with eligibility for variable pay.

You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery, follow safety rules, and collaborate with a team to meet production goals. Strong hands-on maintenance experience is required in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps.
• Experience installing, aligning, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing industrial equipment.
• Experience with fabrication, welding, and cutting torch.
• Experience operating hoisting and lifting devices.
• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets and gearboxes.
• Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety, environmental and PPE compliance in an industrial setting.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to improve reliability and uptime.
• Assist co-workers and operate effectively in a team environment.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Communicate work performed and equipment status clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Support production waste and quality goals through a maintenance program.
