Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Millwrights for a major industrial power generation project in Starbase, TX. The role focuses on installing, aligning, and maintaining large rotating equipment including gas and steam turbines, generators, and related machinery.

Candidates should have 5+ years of millwright or rotating equipment installation experience, with strong alignment and rigging skills. OSHA compliance, ability to work outdoors, and a valid driver's license are required.

Competenze

• 5+ years of millwright, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery installation experience.
• Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, compressors, or similar large rotating machinery preferred.
• Strong experience with precision alignment, rigging, grouting, and equipment installation.
• Familiarity with API RP 686 preferred.
• NCCER Millwright certification or journeyman credentials preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and outdoors as needed.

Mansioni

• Install, position, level, and align gas turbines, generators, and rotating equipment.
• Perform precision laser and dial-indicator alignment, including coupling adjustments and soft-foot corrections.
• Set, grout, and anchor machinery using hydraulic jacks and specialized equipment.
• Perform mechanical assembly, rigging, and heavy equipment installation.
• Assist with turbine commissioning, startup preparation, and equipment preservation.
• Install SCR stacks and associated mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, OEM manuals, and equipment installation drawings.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
