Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company seeks a Journeyman Mechanical Millwright for its Morgan City, LA job site. The role covers installing, maintaining, repairing, dismantling and moving machinery per blueprints in an industrial setting.

Qualified candidates will have 4 years of heavy industrial field experience as a Millwright and 5 years with steam turbine systems, with NCCER credentials preferred. Tools and PPE are required for duties.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Mechanical Millwright.
• Five years experience with steam turbine systems.
• NCCER written or performance verified; NCCER Certified Plus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read construction drawings—blueprints and schematics to determine procedures.
• Identify and use rigging equipment safely and competently; hand signals required.
• Identify fasteners and anchors and explain their uses.
• Identify gaskets and O-Rings; lay out, cut and install gaskets; select proper O-ring.
• Remove and install bearings; use pullers or press; understand heat removal.
• Identify and explain packing and seals; install appropriately; discuss mechanical seals.
