Basis North America Inc. seeks experienced Mechanical Steam Turbine Technicians / Millwrights for an upcoming industrial steam turbine project. The role requires hands-on experience in maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting, valve systems, bearings, seals, lubrication, and rotating equipment.

The position involves supporting shutdowns, cooldowns, testing, and return-to-service activities in an industrial field environment with strict safety procedures. Travel to project sites may be required.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with steam turbine systems and rotating equipment.
• Experience in turbine outages, overhauls, and field service tasks.
• Familiarity with turbine valves, actuators, and lubrication systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs and mechanical drawings; perform precision alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting on steam turbine systems.
• Inspect, remove, repair, and reinstall turbine valve components and assemblies.
• Work on valve stems, bushings, rings, seals and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair oil leaks from valve actuators and servo cylinders.
• Maintain and inspect lube oil and control oil systems; bearing inspection.
