AdvanSix is hiring a Maintenance Machinist / Millwright at the Chesterfield Plant near Richmond, VA to repair and maintain mechanical equipment and support 24/7 operations.

The role requires a millwright journeyman card or 4+ years in a similar facility and a high school diploma. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, reading schematics, and using precision tools to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Millwright journeyman card or minimum 4 years of maintenance experience as a millwright/mechanic in a chemical plant, refinery, or similar industrial facility.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, and gearboxes.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and P&ID drawings.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance work at the Chesterfield Plant.
• Support 24/7 plant operations and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Use precision measuring tools and shop machining equipment.
