The role requires strong supervision, lean manufacturing experience, and close collaboration with purchasing, sales, and management to resolve production challenges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five+ years in millwork, door unit production, architectural millwork, or related manufacturing.
• Minimum of two years in supervisory or production management in a shop setting.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and architectural documentation.
• Working knowledge of millwork fabrication techniques, woodworking machinery, and production sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily millwork and door unit production schedules to meet safety, quality, and output targets.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate shop personnel while fostering accountability and skill development.
• Review complex architectural drawings and cut lists to ensure precise assembly of door units and trim.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and management to resolve material shortages and production questions.
• Maintain material inventory, tooling, and shop equipment to prevent delays.
• Execute quality control checks across finished products to meet specifications.
• Enforce shop safety protocols and proper equipment operation.
