Sunnyvale Millwork is seeking a Project Manager to lead architectural commercial millwork projects from handoff to final installation. You will drive design accuracy, material quality, and client satisfaction while managing scope, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities include overseeing material orders, shop drawings, and field measurements; coordinating with estimators; and ensuring installation meets architectural specifications. A minimum of 5 years PM experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in architectural commercial millwork.
• Ability to read, review, and analyze architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and specs.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, field measurements, and PM principles.
• Proven ability to manage job costs and budgets in deadline-driven environments.

The Opportunity

You will lead complex commercial architectural millwork projects from preliminary handoff through final installation. This role empowers you to drive operational and financial targets while working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. You will serve as the central point of contact to ensure design accuracy, material quality, and client satisfaction.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Oversee all project phases including material orders, production work orders, shop drawings, delivery, and installation.
• Lead handoff meetings with estimating teams to establish project scope, budgets, and operational schedules.
• Perform precise material takeoffs and field measurements to ensure exact compliance with design specifications.
• Log, monitor, and document change order requests to maintain project margins and clear communication.
• Negotiate subcontractor contracts and coordinate field personnel to align with master project timelines.
• Execute job site quality control inspections to ensure installation standards meet architectural requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the architectural commercial millwork industry.
• Strong proficiency in reading, reviewing, and analyzing architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Deep understanding of construction practices, field measurements, and project management principles.
• Proven capability to manage job costs, maintain project budgets, and operate in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Associate degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Prior experience managing multi-site commercial installation teams and subcontractor agreements.
