Job summary

Dakota Holdings, a premier architectural millwork and premium door unit producer, is seeking a Millwork Production Manager to lead daily shop operations in Sunnyvale. You will steward millwork production, mentor skilled craftspeople, and optimize workflows to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, review architectural drawings, and maintain safety and quality across all lines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years in millwork/door unit production or related manufacturing.
Minimum 2 years supervisory or production management experience.
Advanced ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and architectural documentation.

Responsibilities

Direct daily millwork and door unit production schedules to meet safety, quality and output targets.
Lead, coach, and evaluate shop personnel fostering accountability and skill development.
Review complex drawings and cut lists to ensure precise assembly of door units and trim.
Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and management to resolve material shortages and technical questions.
Maintain material inventory, tooling, and shop equipment to prevent delays and downtime.
Execute rigorous quality control checks across finished products to meet specs.
Enforce shop safety protocols and proper equipment operation.
