Armstrong World Industries in Marshfield, MO is seeking a Moulder Operator for the 1st shift to safely produce quality wood and veneered components using two Moulder machines.

This hourly, full-time role runs 5am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday with overtime on Fridays/Saturdays and includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus ($500 at 3 months and $500 at 9 months).

Responsibilities

• Production duties include meeting customer orders, inventory, samples, and prototypes.
• Ensure safety and well-being of self and others in the facility.
• Maintain high attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work.
• Oversee operation of Molder Machines with safe practices and clean work area.
• Communicate key information to supervisors and team leads in a timely manner.

Job Output

The Moulder Machine Operator is responsible for safely producing quality products made of solid wood and veneered material through one of two Moulder machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

• Production needs include but are not limited to customer orders, inventory, product samples, and product development prototypes.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of self as well as all associates within the facility.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work.
• Oversee the operation of the Molder Machines, ensuring safe work practices as well as keeping the work area a safe work environment for all that work or enter the area.
• Ability to communicate with a team to ensure safety, quality and delivery expectations are met.
• Responsible for machine start-up, shut-down and Preventative Maintenance.
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all paperwork coming into and leaving from the Molder Machine.
• Communicate all key information to your Production Supervisor, 1st shift Team Lead and 2nd shift Team Lead in a timely manner.
