Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Installation Project Manager to oversee millwork and cabinet installations in the Phoenix, AZ area. You will coordinate handoffs, oversee schedules, manage site readiness, and ensure work stays within scope and budget.

The role requires strong communication and problem solving, with ability to collaborate across teams for successful project completion. Travel to job sites 2-3 days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of field leadership experience is required.
• 2-5 years of relevant project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Take over projects from sales/PM teams and ensure thorough handoffs.
• Review plans, scope, and budgets before installation planning.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors and select qualified trades.
• Conduct site visits to verify readiness and establish relationships.
• Schedule and lead preconstruction meetings with GC/PMs and installation team.
• Oversee material handoffs (doors/frames/hardware) and scheduling.
• Monitor site readiness and installation progress to prevent delays.
• Track budgets and manage costs to prevent scope creep.
• Record scope changes and change orders promptly.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, subs, and PMs.
• Support installation teams and PMs throughout the project.
• Ensure subcontractors meet schedules and quality and process invoices.
