Gobravvo in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a detailed Millwork Estimator for a full-time role. You will review drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates for custom millwork, and manage bids from quoting through award.

Collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and production teams ensures accurate budgets and timely delivery. Ideal candidates are analytical, highly organized, and skilled in interpreting construction documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education in construction or related field is an asset.
• Experience: minimum of 3 years in millwork estimating or related field.
• Deep knowledge of cabinetry, millwork materials, and construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze architectural, engineering, and interior design drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for custom millwork, casework, and finish carpentry projects.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options to optimize project budgets.
• Create detailed project plans and define scopes of work based on project requirements.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive material pricing and maintain quality standards.
• Document and track industry trends, project costs, and expenses for continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors regarding project details, expectations, and specifications.
