Job summary

AM Cabinets Inc. is a commercial architectural millwork company seeking an experienced Estimator for its Millwork Division. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized and task oriented, with the ability to read architectural blueprints and coordinate with project teams.

Responsibilities include takeoffs, bid preparation, supplier evaluation, and maintaining client relationships. Based in the South Bay, the role emphasizes collaboration with contractors and field experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read architectural blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in millwork/cabinet manufacturing environment.
• Field experience in measuring and installing is a plus.
• Bid takeoff and proposal prep (Bluebeam/On Center).

We are a Commercial Architectural Millwork, Doors, Frames and Hardware Company based in the South Bay. We are seeking an experienced Estimator for our Millwork Division. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized and task oriented.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to read Architectural blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must have exceptional people skills.
• 1 – 3 years experience (millwork/cabinet or manufacturing product environment) required.
• Field experience (measuring & installing) a plus.
• Bid takeoff and proposal preparation (Bluebeam/On Center).
• Effective collaboration with contractors.
• Evaluation of suppliers.
• Evaluate subcontractors and their proposals.
• Extensive research of materials.
• Estimates and coordinates timelines with project teams.
• Maintaining client relationships.
