Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is seeking a Millwork Engineer / CAD Designer to support architectural woodworking projects from design through manufacturing and installation.

The candidate will develop detailed shop drawings from architectural plans and coordinate with CNC operators and installation crews to ensure accurate fabrication. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills and hands-on woodworking knowledge, with training offered for CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.

Qualifications

Strong AutoCAD skills and familiarity with woodworking and millwork.
Ability to read architectural drawings and construction documents.
Willingness to train in CNC programming.
Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Draft and review detailed AutoCAD shop drawings for millwork projects.
Interpret drawings into production-ready shop drawings.
Coordinate drawings for manufacturing, fabrication and installation.
Prepare CNC programs using WoodWOP, WoodCAD|CAM, and CutRite.
Coordinate with CNC operators, carpenters, installers and project managers.
