Job summary

Woodweb is seeking a CAD Engineer to support production of custom millwork and cabinetry for Retail, Builder, and Commercial accounts. You will create production-ready drawings and CNC programs that drive efficient manufacturing of large-scale orders and work with modern CAD/CAM systems used in woodworking.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in custom millwork or cabinetry, hands-on CAD/CAM platform experience (Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, 2020, Mozaik, SWOOD, WoodWOP, or similar),

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in custom millwork, cabinetry or other woodworking manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM platforms listed above.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming concepts and G-code for woodworking equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a self-directed, production-driven environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed shop drawings and production documentation ready for production approval and manufacturing.
• Support continuous improvement of design-to-production workflows.
• Ensure designs meet quality, constructability, and production standards.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to deliver accurate, on-time output in a fast-paced environment.
• Meet defined productivity and quality metrics.
