Job summary

Corporate Woodworking in New Jersey is seeking a Project Draftsman / Engineer to draft and review AutoCAD shop drawings and prepare CNC programs.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, on-site only, with a competitive benefits package including health, PTO, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting and reviewing shop drawings for architectural woodworking.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with ability to produce production drawings.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review AutoCAD shop drawings for architectural woodworking projects.
• Prepare CNC programs using WoodWOP, iX and CutRite.
• Work a full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM.
• AutoCAD proficiency is essential; CNC programming training is provided.
• Experience with woodworking, cabinetry, carpentry, or millwork is preferred.
• Experience with WoodCAD|CAM / iX or Microvellum is beneficial.
• Position is on-site only; no remote work.

We are Corporate Woodworking and we’ve been manufacturing architectural millwork in New Jersey for over 40 years. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone to join our team as a Project Draftsman / Engineer.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Drafting and Review of AutoCAD shop drawings for architectural woodworking projects.
• Prepare CNC machine programs using CAD/CAM software (WoodWOP, iX, CutRite).
• This is a Full-Time, Monday through Friday Position from 6:00AM – 3:00PM.
• Looking for someone highly proficient in AutoCAD, we are able to train on the CNC programming side of the responsibilities.
• Experience with woodworking, cabinetry, carpentry, and/or millwork would be preferred.
• Experience with WoodCAD|CAM / iX - OR - Microvellum would be beneficial.
• Position is not eligible for remote work
• Compensation based on experience
