Job summary

Woodweb is seeking a Design Engineer to join our on-site team and support custom manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong SolidWorks experience and a background in cabinetry, millwork, or similar environments, with training available for millwork standards and materials.

You will create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and shop drawings, develop BOMs, and collaborate with project managers and production teams to meet timelines and quality goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience using SolidWorks.
• Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and shop drawings using SolidWorks.
• Interpret architectural, design, and internal project documentation.
• Develop and maintain cut lists, BOMs, and part files.
• Ensure drawings meet production standards, quality expectations, and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and installers.
• Resolve engineering challenges related to custom manufacturing and fitment.
• Maintain organized documentation and revision control throughout each project.
