Job summary

dakBUILT is a Kansas City-based contractor specializing in commercial millwork and cabinets. We’re growing and seeking a sales professional to keep our bid calendar full, win business, and coordinate with the estimator to deliver competitive bids.

You’ll nurture client relationships, reach out to general contractors, and drive opportunities from first contact to handoff in our ERP system. The role offers a base plus uncapped commissions and a path to leadership.

Qualifications

• Comfortable on the phone and able to talk with clients.
• Willing to win and own the details in bids.
• Construction knowledge or related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with clients and build new ones.
• Call general contractors to learn bidding activity and secure bid lists.
• Follow up on every open bid; treat every follow-up as a sales call.
• Inquire about additional work to bid for contractors.
• Collaborate with estimator to produce quality bids.
• Maintain opportunities in the ERP system (Innergy) from first contact to handoff.
• Reconcile awarded bids to contracts so numbers align.
• Prepare projects for the project management team and participate in handoff meetings.
