Job summary

Boise Cascade in Auburn, GA is seeking a Millwork Assembler to join our production team. You will perform assembly of interior and exterior doors, work at multiple machine centers as needed, and verify work orders against materials and assembly instructions to ensure accuracy.

This full-time position requires reading tape measurements, following safety procedures, and collaborating with teammates to fulfill daily orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years of equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read tape measurements and follow safety/work instructions.
• Experience with millwork and CNC equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Description

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Assembler. Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below.

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly of interior and exterior doors.
• Work at various machine centers as needed.
• Verify accuracy of work orders to materials and assembly instructions.
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
• Inspects all materials for defects and appropriate quality/condition.
• Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily.
• Maintain clean working area.
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance).
• Engages in all required safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience. Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions. Ability to read tape measurements.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with millwork. Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN). Prior experience with manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand during the entire work shift. Work in tandem using safe lifting practices. Continuously lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment: Repetitive physical motion. High traffic warehouse and shop. Work in a loud environment and wear the provided personal protective equipment.
