Boise Cascade is hiring a Millwork Assembler to manufacture interior and exterior doors on-site in a full-time capacity. You will operate at various machine centers, verify orders, and contribute to a safe, efficient production line.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. Ideal candidates understand safety instructions, can read tape measurements, and have a background in millwork or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years experience accepted.
• Ability to read tape measurements.
• Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly of interior and exterior doors.
• Work at various machine centers as needed.
• Verify accuracy of work orders to materials and assembly instructions.
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers.
• Inspects all materials for defects and quality.
• Work with team to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily.
• Maintain clean working area.
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA).
• Engage in required safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs assembly of interior and exterior doors
• Work at various machine centers as needed
• Verify accuracy of work orders to materials and assembly instructions
• Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers
• Inspects all materials for defects and appropriate quality/conditionWork with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily
• Maintain clean working area
• Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance)
• Engages in all required safety programs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
• Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
• Ability to read tape measurements

Preferred

• Familiarity with millwork
• Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN)
• Prior experience with manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines

Physical

• Ability to stand during the entire work shift
• Work in tandem using safe lifting practices
• Continuously lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Repetitive physical motion
• High traffic warehouse and shop
• Work in a loud environment and wear the provided personal protective equipment.
