Job summary

Superior Paving Corp. in Northern Virginia and Central Virginia seeks a Milling Foreman to lead daily milling and asphalt paving operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will supervise field crews, coordinate equipment, traffic control, and material flows, and enforce OSHA and DOT safety standards while upholding our EPIC values. This role requires 5+ years in paving/construction, strong leadership, and a proven ability to read drawings, manage documentation, and maintain

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paving or construction experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of asphalt paving and milling processes.
• Ability to read, interpret construction drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Proficiency in project documentation, timekeeping, and digital record-keeping.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees milling operations to ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and production targets.
• Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling, equipment, trucking, and material delivery.
• Monitors milling processes for proper depth, grade, compaction, and surface quality.
• Provides direction, coaching, and leads daily huddles on safety and goals.
• Trains crew on equipment operation and Superior’s standards.
• Evaluates crew performance and administers disciplinary actions when needed.
• Creates and submits accurate daily timesheets and production reports.
