Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking an Asphalt Milling Equipment Operator to join the Madison Construction team in Madison, TN. This full-time, day shift position requires operating milling equipment and supporting the paving crew while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Entry-level wages start at $23.00 per hour, with opportunities for night/overtime work. Candidates should have at least 1 year of milling or asphalt crew experience and be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year milling or asphalt crew experience.
• Must be dependable and show up for all assigned shifts.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold for extended shifts.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mill and other heavy equipment safely for varied conditions and situations.
• Operate broom and skid steer to clean up milled surfaces.
• Complete labor tasks around the mill.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks, cleaning, and greasing.
• Operate with a priority of job safety for all persons working around the equipment.
• Communicate clearly with crew-members to work as a team.
• Work with the team to provide a fully prepared site for the paving crew.
