Job summary
Satterfield Construction Company is seeking an experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our asphalt division and help deliver high-quality paving projects on roadway programs.
You will safely operate a milling machine, adjust cutting depths, and coordinate with the foreman and crew to meet production goals. The role requires a strong safety mindset, reliable attendance, and willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience operating milling machines on roadway projects.
- Understanding asphalt paving and roadway construction operations.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment and follow safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a milling machine on roadway and paving projects.
- Adjust cutting depth and milling patterns to meet project specifications.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Work closely with the foreman and crew to meet production goals and schedules.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Assist with additional project and crew responsibilities as needed.
