Job summary

Rogers Group Inc. seeks motivated, punctual asphalt paving equipment operators for construction work in Murfreesboro, TN. Candidates must be familiar with paving equipment such as rakes, rollers, pavers, and trucks, with CDL required for certain vehicles.

Day shift with some night work and a starting wage of $23.52 per hour. Qualified applicants will have 1–2 years paving experience, a strong safety record, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused with uncompromising attention to procedures.
• 1–2 years asphalt paving experience preferred.
• Experience in road construction in high traffic areas including MUTCD traffic control.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move heavy objects.
• Outdoor work in weather, heat, humidity and exposure to dust/asphalt.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on job sites.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Perform minor equipment servicing; report major problems to Supervisor.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Follow Supervisor directions for daily tasks on each project.
