Job summary

Griffin Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced asphalt milling operator to run heavy equipment and support paving operations across multiple sites. You will handle milling machines, skid steers, and related equipment, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires 1+ year of milling/paving experience, the ability to travel between sites, and the capacity to work in dusty and loud conditions. A drug screen is mandatory, with shifts including day, night, and overnight.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of asphalt milling and/or paving experience.
• Familiarity with asphalt milling machines, dump trucks, paving equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Able to travel between sites.
• Able to work in dusty, loud, and inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy, motorized equipment including milling machines and skid steers.
• Load/unload trucks and use related hand tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical problems.
• Follow safety regulations and remove hazards.
• Communicate clearly in writing and orally.
