Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Mill Sales Manager to lead strategic sales across Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. You’ll manage customer relationships, drive growth for Valmet’s pulp and paper solutions, and coordinate upgrades, repairs, and services with internal experts to meet targets.

You’ll develop territory forecasts, analyze markets, and deliver value through a deep understanding of customer needs and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related technical and/or sales experience in the pulp and paper industry or equivalent.
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships and close strategic deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Valmet’s full offering within the assigned territory.
• Coordinate equipment upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts/services.
• Provide sales forecasts, track bookings, and report on proposals and costs.
• Lead audits, on-site services, and data collection to support customer contracts.
