Job summary

Saint-Gobain in Portage, Wisconsin is seeking a Mill Room Operator to set up, mill and test materials that meet quality specifications for production. The role requires accurate weighing, verification of components and strict adherence to documented procedures.

Responsibilities include safe milling, testing milled materials, cleaning equipment, and maintaining documentation practices throughout the shift. The position operates 1st shift, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience is required.
• Strong team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have strong math skills.
• Must be able to read and understand work orders and product specifications.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push and pull up to 40 lbs. for 8-12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely mill material and test milled materials.
• Set up material (accurately weigh and verify components).
• Clean mill, work surface and other equipment between jobs.
• Accurately follow documented procedures and complete forms using good documentation practices.
