Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for motivated Production Laborers to join our team. We are currently hiring mill production operators, including light equipment operators, who can work with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include keeping the mill clean, performing routine maintenance, assisting in repairs with maintenance staff and contractors, maximizing mill efficiency, maintaining inventory of ingredients, ensuring quality and

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for 10 hours a day.
• Able to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift, skid steer, front-end loader experience preferred.
• Work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat or cold.
• Maintain safe working environment.
• Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.
• Some weekends required in winter months.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks daily/weekly/monthly.
• Assist in repairs and maintenance projects with maintenance staff and contractors.
• Help maximize mill efficiency and crew productivity.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure ingredients meet LNC quality standards.
• Safely operate equipment following training.
• Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by local management.
