Qualifications

• One year of experience in mechanical/maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Ability to read and use schematics and blueprints.
• Must have completed academic and competencies required and pass a written assessment on technical skills and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintains, installs, and repairs equipment and processes in the Milling plant (mills, conveyors, screens, and similar systems).
• Assist with component replacement and repairs on conveyor systems, ball mills, auto mills, screen decks, lube systems, filter drums, crushers, hydraulic filter presses, and foundry pumps.
• Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance; identify wear, noises, and potential failures on agitators, rotors, belts, pulleys, gear boxes.
• May perform welding (Stick, TIG).
• Maintain work orders, keep a clean safe work area, and conduct work-area inspections.
• Perform other duties as required.
