Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Colorado's Henderson mine and mill is seeking a maintenance-focused candidate to safely inspect, repair, and maintain milling equipment, conveyors, and related systems at a 24/7 operation.

The role requires reading and following English instructions, passing safety trainings and a written assessment; on-site work includes a housing allowance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have completed academic and practical competencies and meet LOP requirements.
• Able to understand and follow English instructions and procedures.
• Willing to work in a 24/7 mining environment and pass required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with maintenance and repair of milling plant equipment, including mills and conveyors.
• Assist with maintenance on crushers, overlaying conveyors, ball mills, and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mill equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Conduct housekeeping and area checks to ensure safety.
• May operate mobile equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
