Job summary

Trinity Products in Saint Charles, MO is seeking a Mill Fabrication Welder for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00pm–1:30am). The role involves welding, fabricating, and finishing steel components per blueprints and procedures. Requires at least 1 year of welding experience and ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of welding experience across various techniques.
  • Successful completion of an internal weld test is required.
  • Experience with D1.1 structural welding code, application, and quality standards.
  • Must be able to identify small defects in materials and joints that could affect structural integrity
  • Understanding three-dimensional space is essential for positioning materials and effective solutions.
  • Steel-toe boots, sleeved shirts, and a welding hood are required.
  • We’ve got you covered with the rest: Trinity provides PPE including a hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves.
  • Experience operating an overhead crane is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbolism.
  • Set up and fine-tune welding fixtures and parameters, including amps, volts, and positioning.
  • Execute grinding, fitting, and finishing operations using manual and power tools.
  • Use of power tools to properly prep joints for welding.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment to ensure safe and effective performance.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify work.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Use of an overhead bridge crane to safely move heavy, large steel materials.

Mill Fabrication Welder (St. Charles, 2nd Shift)

Salary Range: $24.32 To $25.00 Hourly

What You'll Do:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of welding experience across various techniques is preferred—bring your hands‑on know‑how to the table.
  • Prove your skills – Successful completion of aninternal weld test is required to join our elite team of welders.

  • Able to stand, move, and stay active throughout your shift—this is a hands‑on, on‑your‑feet kind of role.
