fairlife LLC is a Chicago-based nutrition company producing lactose-free, real dairy products. The role involves receiving milk, loading trucks, testing samples, and maintaining a clean, audit-ready facility. You will perform CIP, monitor equipment, and train team members under supervision.

The position requires adherence to GMP and food safety standards, plus ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with day shifts. Comprehensive benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot small problems and discern when input from others is needed.
• Must be willing to ask for assistance when the process is unclear.
• Proficiency in English: written and verbal communication.
• Basic computation skills and simple math reasoning.
• Operate equipment effectively after training period.

Responsibilities

• Ensure milk is received within specifications and meets safety and quality requirements.
• Inspect, document and transfer product from supplier to designated silo.
• Load and unload trucks and test/document milk loads.
• Perform CIP for silos, lines, and raw milk tankers.
• Take milk samples for QA testing and monitor CIP chemistry.
• Assist maintenance with pumps, valves, and heat exchangers as needed.
