Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver comprehensive personal financial counseling services to service members and their families at assigned military installations. The role includes education, one-on-one counseling, briefings, and referrals, with on-site duties at Virgin Islands locations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of financial counseling, U.S. citizenship with fluent English, and potential bilingual English/Spanish requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; associate degree plus 4 years of experience or high school diploma plus 6 years may be considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Develop spending plans for extended absences.
• Coordinate, publicize, and provide PFM classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication as needed.
• Maintain compliance with DoD and program requirements and participate in supervision and training.
