Job summary

Magellan Health, Inc. seeks a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver one-on-one counseling and group trainings at military installations. You will develop resources and coordinate with Command leadership to support service members and families in achieving sound financial management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 3+ years in financial counseling, and the ability to obtain DoD disclosures and security clearances as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in financial counseling within a military or federally funded program preferred.
• Certifications in financial planning or AFC/CFP/ChFC are expected or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and families at military installations.
• Develop and deliver financial education materials and workshops.
• Coordinate with installation POCs and supervisors to ensure program scope and needs are met.
