DOCS Health is seeking independent contractor Nurse Practitioners to support military personnel across various locations, including remote installations. You will conduct physical health assessments and review medical histories to determine readiness for service, while coordinating with the supervising physician as required.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services or deployments preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including behavioral health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record.
