Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors supporting military service members through health readiness assessments on weekends and occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program. You will review medical histories, interview personnel, document readiness in our system, and coordinate care with supervising physicians as required.

Applicants must hold an active NP license, CPR/BLS, and be willing to travel to various locations, including remote

Qualifications

Active NP license required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.
Willingness to work extended hours and travel to various locations.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify concerns needing immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record.
