Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors for military service members. The role focuses on weekend availability with occasional weekdays under RHRP, across various locations including remote installations.

You will perform health assessments, review histories, interview personnel, and document readiness classifications using our system. Active NP licensure in the state is required, CPR/BLS, and prior experience in primary or urgent care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state where services are rendered.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Mobile medical services experience preferred.
• Familiarity with military systems, protocols and terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments for service members.
• Review health history and medical records and questionnaires.
• Interview personnel to identify current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health and document results.
• Record findings in the proprietary system for readiness classification.
