Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver counseling services to service members and their families at Savannah, GA military installations. The role includes creating spending plans for extended absences, developing financial education materials, and conducting a range of workshops across the military lifecycle.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3+ years of financial counseling experience, and the ability to collaborate with DoD leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combination with experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen; must speak fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Develop and present financial education materials and workshops.
• Coordinate with DoD points of contact to ensure program scope and needs are met.
• Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes as appropriate.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
