Magellan Health seeks a Personal Financial Counselor to provide comprehensive financial counseling to service members and families on assigned military installations in Charleston, SC. Duties include one-on-one counseling, group workshops, and referrals, using virtual tools when needed.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in financial counseling, U.S. citizenship, fluency in English, and AFC/CFP/ChFC certifications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Associate degree + 4 years' experience in lieu of Bachelor's may be considered.
• High school diploma + 6 years' experience in lieu of Bachelor's may be considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• If contract requires, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families at military installations.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and distribute informational financial materials for service members and families.
• Coordinate and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Deliver virtual counseling or other electronic communications as needed.
• Comply with DoD protocols and communicate with leadership regularly.
