Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver one-on-one counseling and group sessions for military service members and families. The role includes planning budgeting guidance for deployments, creating educational materials, and coordinating financial workshops across installations.

Virtual counseling options may be used as needed to support the program. You will work with installation leadership and POCs to ensure services stay within scope and meet installation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Assists with spending plans for extended absences.
• Develops and provides financial educational materials and workshops.
• Coordinates Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the installation.
• May utilize virtual counseling or secure online communication methods.
