Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen; fluent English; bilingual English/Spanish if required.
• Able to obtain Tier 2 investigations and OCI disclosures.
• Certifications AFC, CFP, or ChFC are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and provide informational financial materials.
• Coordinate and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling and other electronic communication modes as allowed.
• Manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision and reviews.
• Participate in in-services/quality improvement and contract activities.
• All other duties as assigned.
