Job summary

Central Moloney in Panama City, FL, is seeking a Welder for the Metal Fabrication team. You will weld and fabricate pole-mounted transformers, read blueprints, and ensure quality in a safety-first, hands-on role. The position offers growth within a stable, essential industry.

You will work in a loud, hot production environment, with 50 lb lifting limits, and be part of a team focused on craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Physically capable for production work and operating in a loud, hot environment.
• Willingness to undergo background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal parts to spec using MIG techniques.
• Read blueprints and follow detailed instructions for quality and accuracy.
• Cut and shape metal to meet job requirements.
• Smooth and finish welded components for a durable result.
• Work with steel and aluminum and maintain a safe work environment.
• Document work and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with other duties as needed to support the team.
