Central Moloney is seeking a hands-on Welding/Metal Fabrication Team Lead at our Panama City, FL facility near the airport. You’ll guide a team of welders and fabricators, drive daily production goals, and uphold safety and quality standards.

We value leadership over welding experience; if you can motivate a team, provide coaching, and solve production challenges, we want to hear from you. Overtime is required to meet production demands.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or welding certification (AWS or equivalent) a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols is a plus.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse setting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily welding and metal fabrication operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor weld quality and fabrication output for compliance with standards and blueprints.
• Train and onboard new welders and fabricators, sharing best practices.
• Conduct on-the-floor coaching and provide real-time feedback.
• Identify bottlenecks, equipment issues, or quality concerns and escalate to supervisor.
• Enforce safety protocols including PPE and hazard awareness.
• Maintain production records, including output tracking and shift reports.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor to plan workflow and staffing.
• Motivate team to meet targets and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Assume additional duties as assigned.
