Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Welding Technician for on-site work in York, PA. This role involves hands-on MIG welding, fabrication, and meeting quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will read blueprints, layout and fabricate components, and operate robotic welding equipment. Candidates should have 2+ years MIG experience, with Pulse MIG and TIG willingness a plus, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience.
• Pulse MIG experience preferred.
• Blueprint reading skills required.
• Fabrication, fitting, and layout experience.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• TIG welding experience or willingness to learn is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components.
• Perform Pulse MIG welding on production assemblies.
• Build welded structures and fabricated products.
• Measure, inspect, and verify finished work.
• Operate robotic welding equipment and perform touch-up welding as needed.
• Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision tools.
